Chicago adventure
Well, today is the day that I'm going with my good friends Mike and Ken to Chicago for Market Days this weekend. I have a few things planned, but the main thing is that I need to just be in a big city and enjoy myself for a while. I've burned myself out almost completely, and there is still a lot to be done in the next couple of months. It wouldn't do anyone any good if I snapped before I could get what needs to be done, done.I have it on good authority that my closest friends are going to force me to take a break once I get caught up. I"m auditioning for one more show, and then after that, I'm gonna breathe and focus on myself for a bit. I haven't been doing that at all, and I need to. While I'm sitting here writing this, that seems like a simple enough task, but for whatever reason, at some point I forget, and that's when my friends will come to the rescue, reminding me of how burned out I am now. Please don't get me wrong, I'm doing things I really enjoy. That having been said, the things I enjoy take a toll after a while and one person wasn't meant to do so much in such little time. So, this weekend will be an oasis before things start to get crazy. Right now I have Market Days this weekend, and Freedom Valley next weekend. During the week I have Godspell rehearsals and also finding time to work at the office to more computer maintenance. So, if anyone is in Market Days and wants to get a drink, I'm game. Can't promise I'll be in one place for too long, but I'll sure as hell try. I'll have my camera and my IPhone so I'm gonna try to vlog/photo blog, and tweet the entire weekend. Stay tuned! Off I go!
