Back home from Chicago.

1.  Well, home from Chicago.

2.  It was an interesting weekend, with ups and downs, of course.  Not going to get into that.  But, I do want to say that I want to plan another trip soon.  Just not in the same hotel.  The hotel was fine just....a pain to navigate around.  We all thought getting to and from Downtown Chicago from O'Hare was going to be easy.

It wasn't.

Ah well, it was a learning experience.

3.  I finally got my copy of Windows 7.  It's been a pain in the ass to install, but we are getting there. Going to dual boot install Ubuntu 10.04 as well.  Got to get my Linux learn on!

4.  Got some suprising news tonight.  I got a message from the director of "Into The Woods" telling me that I won a couple of awards for being in the show.  The awards ceremony was over the weekend, and I hated missing it, but I really didn't think I was going to get anything.

Seems that I won Tree County Players "Best Actor" for "Into The Woods".  In addition, I won "Best Actor For The Season".

I'm still in shock.
